A site tour will begin automatically upon first login. It is highly recommended to complete the site tour if you have never logged in before or if it has been a while since you’ve logged in since there may be changes you are not familiar with.

The tour will help you learn how to navigate the LMS and provide helpful tips for using the system to provide a better user experience.

If you haven’t logged in to the LMS in a while, launch the site tour by clicking the ‘START TOUR’ button as shown below.

Frequently Asked Questions and Troubleshooting Steps:

1. Where do I find the course materials and resources?

  • For software, see the “Special Note” section at the top of this page.

     OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML Training Course

  • For information on purchasing the OCSMP Accelerator™ course textbook, visit our publications page here: Publications – Delligatti Associates

  • The other OCSMP Accelerator™ course materials can be downloaded from the “Download OCSMP Accelerator™ Training Course Materials” learning track as shown below.

Please read and agree to the terms of use.

After clicking ‘I AGREE,’ a new tab should open containing the zip file.

OOSEM Accelerator™ MBSE Methodology Training Course

  • The OOSEM Accelerator™ course materials can be downloaded from the “OOSEM Accelerator™  Files” content item within the OOSEM Accelerator™ MBSE Methodology Training Course learning track as shown below:

Please read and agree to the terms of use.

After clicking ‘I AGREE,’ a new tab should open containing the zip file.

2. My training content is listed out of sequence. How do I get my content to be displayed in sequential order?

Make sure your view is set to “Learning Tracks.” If not, use the pull-down menu to select it.

Note: clicking the “Library” button in the menu bar at the top of the screen will set the view to “My Content” instead of “Learning Tracks” which will result in the content being displayed in alphabetical order instead of sequential order.

3. What if I get an error when trying to launch the video content or the content won’t load?

Some users encounter trouble streaming video content from the Learning Center. Most often this happens when trying to connect from within a corporate or government facility. We know that institutional firewalls sometimes interfere with video streaming. This can also happen when working from home if one’s internet connection is routed through an institutional VPN. If this is happening to you, we suggest that you:

  • Log into our LMS and view the content using a personal computer with your work VPN turned off.
  • Change your browser settings to allow pop-ups and to accept cookies.
  • Try accessing the Learning Center and viewing the content using a different web browser (Chrome and Microsoft Edge should work).
  • Clear your web browser’s cache and see if there’s a difference in behavior.

4. What if I finished viewing a video segment, but it is not marked as “completed”?

For our 2022 Edition of the OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML Training Course, each eLearning content item (i.e., each video segment) will be marked “COMPLETED” when you view at least 80% of the video. This means that when you have viewed at least 80% of a given video, the greyComplete video later” button in the top-right corner will turn into a blueComplete video now” button. And when you click that blue button, the Learning Center will mark that content item as complete on your student dashboard (i.e., a green check mark will appear on that content item).

Please note:

  • Clicking the “Skip ahead” button repeatedly to jump through the video 5 to 10 seconds at a time does not count as viewing the video. You would have to let it play for at least 80% of the video to get that button to turn blue.
  • The same thing is true if you click-and-drag to scroll the progress slider at the bottom to a point near the end of the video. That likewise would not count as viewing the video.
  • If you are unable to view 80% of the video in one sitting and close the browser tab without clicking on the grey “Complete video later” button followed by the blue “Exit video” button, your progress may not get tracked properly.

For the 2014 edition of the OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML Training Course and OOSEM Accelerator™ MBSE Methodology Training Course, you must answer “Yes” to the question in the ‘Completion Verification’ for the associated module.

5. How do I get my completion certificate after I’ve finished the course?

If you have completed the entire course, you should see a blue “View Certificate” button in the learning track header for the course. Note: if you have not completed the entire course, this button will be grayed out. Clicking the “View Certificate” button will generate a downloadable PDF certificate which you can save or print.

You can download your certificate from your student dashboard by scrolling to the certificate card on the bottom row by clicking on the arrow, or click ‘CERTIFICATES’. Then click the download button next to the name of your certificate.

You can also download a copy of your certificate from your account profile by clicking the drop-down menu next to your name in the upper right corner of your student dashboard, then select “Profile.” From your account profile screen, click on “Certificates.” Finally, click on the “Download” button next to the course name to download a PDF copy of your certificate.
