We are often asked about the expected timeframe for the release by the Object Management Group (OMG) of SysML v2, and for the release by Delligatti Associates of SysML Distilled, 2nd Edition, and of our OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML training course. Here is the expected schedule as of now:
- 1Q 2023, OMG: beta release of SysML v2
- 2Q 2023, OMG: expected start of the 2-year OCSMP exam update initiative
- 1Q 2024, OMG: formal release of SysML v2
- 3Q 2024, Delligatti Associates: release of SysML Distilled, 2nd Edition
- 2Q 2025, OMG: expected release of the revised OCSMP exams
- 3Q 2025, Delligatti Associates: release of the revised OCSMP Accelerator™ SysML Training Course
